How we list them
We add a mission here only when an official Church source says it was discontinued. Closed missions are not counted in our 505 missions and are not shown on the globe.
More
The Church also renamed some missions in July 2024 and July 2026 but has not published a full list of old and new names, so renamed missions are not listed here. Searching an old name on GotMyCall still finds the current mission when we know it.
