Missionary email: mail.missionary.org

Individual vs. teaching area email, how to sign in, and what happens to the account after the mission.

Short answer

Missionaries sign in at mail.missionary.org with their Church Account. Families write to the missionary’s Individual Email address.

At a glance

  • Sign in: mail.missionary.org, with the missionary’s Church Account.
  • Individual Email: the missionary’s own account, for family.
  • Teaching Area Email: shared by companions and stays with the area.
  • Browser: open mail.missionary.org in a web browser to sign in.
  • Families: save emails in your own inbox as they come.

Email tools change. Your call packet and the Missionary Portal are the final word.

Two kinds of email

Individual Email is the missionary’s own @missionary.org address. Families write here.

Teaching Area Email is shared by the companions in an area. It’s usually a number @missionary.org and stays with the area.
